Each taper is hand dipped in naturally filtered 100% molten beeswax, adding layer upon layer of wax. This time-honored process creates an elegant, even-burning candle. When kept out of drafts, these candles will burn drip-less because of the high melting point of beeswax. Standard diameter candles come in pairs (2 candles) and have a 7/8" base diameter. This is a handmade product; variations may occur.
For best results, trim the wick to ¼ inch before each lighting and keep the flame away from open windows, fans, and drafts. As the candle burns, the wick generally trims itself. For best results, extinguish the flame with a snuffer to avoid a smoldering wick.
Under these conditions, burn time is 1 hour per inch of length per taper.
