You've never burned advent candles like these! They are made with 100% beeswax that has been filtered to ivory without losing the characteristic honey scent of yellow beeswax. We dye the wax to present the traditional deep purple and light pink of the advent wreath. Each candle is hand-dipped to 10" tall. The set includes an ivory-white Christ candle (dimensions 2" x 4") for the center of the wreath to light on Christmas Eve and throughout Christmastide.
This is a handmade product; variations may occur.
Why has beeswax traditionally been used in the church? The virgin honeybee creates the wax of the candle, representing the virgin flesh of Mary that cloaked the Light of the World, Jesus.

Beautiful and burn wonderfully
These beautiful tapers truly do burn differently from other candles. The light is brighter by far and steady. The consistent light is much easier to read by! No drips means I’m less concerned with real greenery being a fire hazard. That simple feature has made Advent worship times deeper and less rushed. This season of preparation truly has been calm and bright.
