Advent Candles

You've never burned advent candles like these! They are made with 100% beeswax that has been filtered to ivory without losing the characteristic honey scent of yellow beeswax. We dye the wax to present the traditional deep purple and light pink of the advent wreath. Each candle is hand-dipped to 10" tall. The set includes an ivory-white pillar Christ candle (dimensions 2" x 4.5") for the center of the wreath to light on Christmas Eve.

Why has beeswax traditionally been used in the church? The virgin honeybee creates the wax of the candle, representing the virgin flesh of Mary that cloaked the Light of the World, Jesus.
